How do you enter The Sift?
Dungeons II uses rifts. Java and Bedrock don't have an announced portal recipe yet. An Ancient City tutorial may be showing Mielon's fan mod.

Finding a rift in Dungeons II
Rifts take you into The Sift in the official gameplay trailer. Dungeons II is due on September 29, 2026, so as of September 27 there isn't a released-game route to follow here.
The first rift's location and progression requirements are still unconfirmed. Check the release date for your platform before setting up a session.
Can I open a portal in vanilla?
Not yet. The Sift is planned for Java and Bedrock in 2027. Mojang hasn't announced a frame, activation item, coordinate rule, or Ancient City entrance.
If a tutorial uses blocks you can't find in your game, check its mod list before gathering more materials. You can't activate a modded portal in vanilla.
Using Mielon's Ancient City portal
Mielon's The Sift adds an Ancient City entrance with a sound-based activation sequence. Use the creator's instructions for the exact mod version you've installed.
If the portal doesn't respond, check that the mod and its required dependencies loaded. A missing mod or wrong loader won't be fixed by rebuilding the frame.

Match the tutorial to your installation before changing your world.
- Check whether it's Dungeons II, Java, or Bedrock.
- For a modded tutorial, match the mod name, Minecraft version, and loader.
- Install the required dependencies and test in a new world.
- Back up your main save before adding a dimension mod.
